Word From Our CEO: Why We’re Blogging

Remsoft Co-Founder and CEO, Andrea Feunekes announces company blog to provide a platform to share ideas, opinions, and cutting edge advancements. Remsoft’s blog will feature variety of topics, including technical tips and tricks, the Business of Forestry, the world of Asset Maintenance, and some peeks into life at Remsoft.

If I’ve learned anything over my 26 years with Remsoft, it’s that our clients are unique and we share a special relationship… probably more than in a lot of other tech companies. Our clients are, quite frankly, among the best analysts I have ever come across in any field, which is what happens when you combine a forester with a technical analyst: a particularly rigorous individual, who is hard working and incredibly smart.

We’ve always appreciated the back and forth we have with our clients, which is why our team loves going on site, delivering training, and bringing people to Fredericton for our User Group!

For us, blogging is another way we want to connect with the planning community at large and our clients more specifically. We want to share what is on our mind and hear what is on yours.

We hope you’ll follow along and let us know your thoughts along the way!

You can check out our first blogs here:

Why We Give Back, a great piece on why Remsoft believes in giving back to the communities around us, by Donation Committee Chair Phillis Kelly, and Translating Experience into Data – The New Future of Forest Planning?, by Solutions Manager Jennifer Landry.

Want to be featured on our blog? We’d love to hear from you!

Whether it’s an idea or observations on the global forest industry, planning, optimization, or something cool happening local to you, or a response to something else you read on the blog, this is an opportunity to share your thoughts with us, as well as Remsoft’s global audience.

We look forward to hearing from your brilliant minds.
