Remsoft’s 2020.3 Release Includes Integrator and Regimes Functionality

Remsoft’s 2020.3 Release addresses known issues and bug fixes. It includes important upgrades that can help you streamline workflows, make model building and updating more efficient, and achieve more precise planning.

Remsoft 2020.3 Software Release

New Name – Woodstock Optimization Studio

With this release, we have changed product naming to the Woodstock Optimization Studio (replacing Remsoft Spatial Planning System and Remsoft Modeling Platform) and we have updated branding within the software interface.

The new name better reflects the optimization modeling capabilities of the Woodstock platform.

  • The studio is a place where you can create, maintain and run prescriptive analytics models to build planning intelligence and generate value for your organization.
  • It is also the place where Remsoft creates the optimization models behind our end-user optimization applications like Woodstock Scheduler, as well as the optimization add-ons for Remsoft Operations and future cloud-based optimization applications.

New Features – Integrator and Regimes

Functionality updates in this release include:

Integrator: Integrator functionality is now included in your Woodstock licence. Integrator enables model integration and dynamic data connectivity within Woodstock that makes model building and updating more efficient. Read our blog post on Dynamic Data Connectivity to learn more about the benefits of automation and scripting with Integrator.

Woodstock Integrator Procedures and Regions

Regimes : All functionality related with action sequences and action prescriptions in the Regimes section is now included in your Woodstock licence. Regimes functionality is the preferred way to represent a series of management actions, that always happen together, with a fixed interval and to optimize the best management options.  Find more information on this topic in the documentation system, within the Activity sequencing with Regimes articles folder.
