Remsoft and Weyerhaeuser will open the conference’s first technology session on Tuesday March 17th at 2:15pm. Doug Jones, Remsoft Senior Vice President, Client Solutions & Innovation and David Gilluly, Weyerhaeuser Senior Manager, Timberlands Supply Chain will present on Optimized Operations Management of US Pacific Northwest and Southeastern Timberlands with Remsoft Operations Cloud Solution.

David Gilluly

In his role, David serves as business architect responsible for developing and executing strategy for tactical harvest planning, transportation logistics, forest management and log accounting systems. Over his 24-year career at Weyerhaeuser, David has led or played key roles in a wide range of business and technology transformation initiatives including GIS/Forest Inventory, LiDAR, vehicle guidance, timber cruising, as well as serving on the Weyerhaeuser/Plum Creek merger team. David earned his master’s degree in Forest Management from Duke University.
Doug Jones
Senior Vice President, Remsoft
Doug leads the Solutions & Innovations Team at Remsoft as well as playing a key role in the company’s strategic direction and growth initiatives. With over 15 years of experience at Remsoft and broad experience in strategic forest and environmental planning, Doug is a thought leader and global speaker who brings a deep understanding offorest industry technology and trends. Doug holds a Masters of Forestry from University of New Brunswick and Honours BA Geography from the University of Western Ontario.
